Salaried GP for The Strand Medical Centre, Kirkholt and The Family Practice at Bowness Road, Middleton

The role:

  • Salaried GP post (female GP preferred due to Women’s Health lead role)

  • 4 sessions over 2 days, one day at each of the two sites

  • Supported training and clinical supervision

  • Part of BARDOC’s family of practices

    Set-up of the practice:

  • 5,000 patients across two sites with a diverse, mostly deprived population

  • The Strand is atraining practice

  • Both practices are supported by BARDOC’s Management Team and broad range of Primary Care Services

  • On site managers, Practice Nurse, HCA, access to Clinical Pharmacists, First Contact Physio, Midwifery Services and Social Prescribing team.

  • Two sites covering Kirkholt and Middleton areas with great access links to M62, Rochdale, Oldham and central Manchester

  • Teams work closely together and provide a family-friendly environment.

  • EMIS Practice

  • Local provision of minor surgery, joint injections, coils and long-acting contraception.

  • Overall ‘Good’ CQC rating

  • Regular in house and wider clinical training/learning sessions

  • Regular MDT meetings providing support and input from the team
