The Programme Manager will be accountable for identifying the most appropriate mechanisms to ensure strategic workforce planning and development is incorporated into NHS Bolton CCG’s 5 year plan.

Attend GM Workforce Leads groups to support delivery of the GM workforce strategy locally to make sure our primary care workforce is sustainable now and in the future including the following work streams:

  • General Practice – GP and other medical workforce, Practice Nurses, Supporting Workforce, Allied Health Professionals Workforce
  • Primary Care and Local Care Organisation Integration
  • Developing Primary Care in anticipation of future care delivery models
  • Recognising the contribution of Dentistry, Optometry and Pharmacy in Integrated Care delivery
