An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time position (37.5hrs) to work within the Greater Manchester Workforce Bureau which is supporting the deployment of staff to local vaccination sites across Greater Manchester Primary Care in partnership with the Lead Employer, Tameside and Glossop IC FT.

  • Are you wanting to be part of an innovative and dynamic workforce team aiming to deliver workforce support across Greater Manchester in response to the Covid-19 pandemic?

The main responsibility of this role is to help manage and co-ordinate staffing plans and rotas across the Primary Care Network and arrange bank/agency staff to work within set clinics/sessions.

The current role is for a period up to the end of September 2021, and you will be required to work as part of a weekend shift pattern with on-call administrative support requirements as part of a wider team. The role will be largely home-based at the current time.

The successful candidates will work as part of the GM Workforce Bureau team, liaising directly with the Lead Employer and workforce to provide a joined up and seamless process for the request management and deployment of appropriate staff. The successful candidates will report directly to the Programme Support Lead at the GM Workforce Bureau.
