Do you want to come and work for the North West's leading specialised orthopaedic hospital? We have an exciting opportunity for 3 x Band 5 Physiotherapists to work in a limited orthopaedic/MSK rotation. These are full time posts (37.5 hours) Monday to Friday with some weekend shifts.

Applications are invited from enthusiastic individuals who would like to join our friendly and supportive physiotherapy teams at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh.

Opportunities are available to join our cross site rotation moving throughout the specialties of elective orthopaedics and outpatient trauma and orthopaedics at Wrightington Hospital, and MSK outpatients in one of our community bases. This gives you a varied caseload and the opportunity to treat orthopaedic patients in secondary care and GP patients in a primary care setting.

The post offers the opportunity to work within supportive teams alongside senior physiotherapists and other members of our MDT.

We have a genuine commitment to training and development and post holders are expected to develop themselves professionally in line with the needs of the current/future service.

The post holder will have access to regular supervision and from senior staff and be encouraged to participate in a variety of training and development opportunities. They will be required to contribute to the in-service training programme within the Therapy Team and will have the opportunity to participate in the supervision of students and more junior staff.

Weekend working is essential on the elective orthopaedic rotation which covers a 7 day service. Due to the nature of the community rotation, you must be able to travel across Trust independently.

The role will require you to work across all areas in the Trust which may include those that are designated as positive, asymptomatic and negative COVID areas.

An Enhanced DBS with Children's and Adults' Barred list checks will be obtained during pre-employment checks.

On-Call
