We are looking for an experienced learning technologist to join the team to provide flexible face to face and remote assistance with the expanding range of training we offer.

OCTC is a specialist agency within the Trust, with a brief to deliver highly expert specialist training, supervision, research and clinical care in cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), the most widely endorsed form of psychological therapy under government guidelines. This is done within a framework of providing high quality services and income generation for the NHS Trust.

This post will significantly improve the support that OCTC can offer its learners, to identify and deploy online learning resources appropriate to their needs, , to help us respond quickly and cost-effectively to requests to develop new resources and provide technical support both online and for the face to face workshops and training events.

  • New starters have a 6 month probationary period. This, together with the induction process aims to create a positive supportive working environment allowing new employees to learn key elements of their role over a reasonable timescale.

  • Candidates not currently employed by the Trust who attend an interview for non-qualified Band 1-5 posts are required to undertake numeracy and literacy assessments.
