The successful candidate will work within an established administration team to provide high quality administrative support to the operational team. We require an organised, enthusiastic, motivated and adaptable person to join our small team in this busy community hospital. You will need to be able to use your initiative and manage your own workload.

Applicants must have excellent IT, communication and interpersonal skills. You need to be able to remain calm and professional when faced with changing or challenging situations. The ideal applicant will have a good standard of education, an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent and relevant keyboard qualification such as RSA II. This will be assessed by a skills test as part of the interview process.

A flexible working approach is required. This is a 30 hour per week post, with hours to be agreed between Monday – Friday, 0830 – 1700.

We provide support to avoid hospital admissions, and if an admission is necessary, we try to make each patient’s stay in hospital as short and effective as possible before working with them on a safe discharge home.

Our patients (through the Friends and Family Test) regularly report an average of over 95% satisfaction with our services.
