Location: Western Community Hospital, Southampton

Hours: 15 Hours per week

This is a fixed term post opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist with experience in neuropsychology, to join our well established neuropsychology service. The post-holder will provide neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation for adults with acquired brain injury who present with cognitive, behavioural or emotional problems.

The post will be based at the Western Community Hospital in Southampton, but the job may involve travel to other sites within the Solent NHS Trust region. The post-holder will work primarily with out-patients but on occasion may visit some patients or relatives in their own home and will also provide input for family members. We are also able to offer the option of video sessions for appropriate patients.

We are a large Neuropsychology Department which consists of 8 Clinical Neuropsychologists/Psychologists in Neuropsychology working across the rehabilitation pathway. We offer regular accredited supervision, CPD and there are excellent professional development opportunities. We can also provide supervision for candidates wanting to undertake the Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology (QICN).

Clinical Psychologists who are due to qualify in October 2021 will be considered for the post.
