If so we are looking for an experienced midwife with enthusiasm for delivering high quality women centred care, to join our team of Labour Ward Coordinators.

The Labour Ward coordinator has responsibility for the organisation of workload within the department promoting continuity of career and liaising with team leaders. In addition you will provide leadership, act as a mentor across the service and promote positive multidisciplinary team working. The labour ward coordinator will be part of the team that provides on-call manager support out of hours to ensure safety and support of the unit.

This is a full time post working 37.5 hours per week.

This post is subject to formal matching. The Band is confirmed but there may need to be some revision to the JD required in the future.

We provide support to avoid hospital admissions, and if an admission is necessary, we try to make each patient’s stay in hospital as short and effective as possible before working with them on a safe discharge home.

Our patients (through the Friends and Family Test) regularly report an average of over 95% satisfaction with our services.
