Base - HMP Leeds

Flexible Working / Job Sharing Opportunities / Generous incentives

It may be that you are already based in Yorkshire or looking to relocate to this beautiful part of the world. Either way, talk to us about the incentives on offer, including a generous relocation package, to help the right candidate make the move.

We are looking to recruit to a brand new consultant post, which has been created following the success of Inclusion Services (part of the Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust) in securing a competitive tender in partnership with Practice Plus Group to provide secondary mental health care to a number of prisons in the Yorkshire Area.

Nationally, Inclusion provides Mental Health Integrated services to over 20 Prisons with the population of approximately 14000 prisoners, with an excellent track record of delivering high quality services. People using our prison services typically rate the quality of care the received as GOOD or VERY GOOD!

This is great opportunity for enthusiastic and dynamic forensic consultant psychiatrists or general adult psychiatrists with a special interest in forensic psychiatry, to provide clinical leadership to the mental health team serving the populations of HMP Leeds.

In addition to the clinical work, there will be opportunities for service development, teaching and training and other clinical governance activities. The nature of the prisons will offer wonderful opportunities to enrich your clinical and academic skills. Inclusion is renowned for investing in and supporting our staff and we are proud to have a strong ethos of continuous professional development.

Peer support is available from the wider forensic directorate colleagues and other prison psychiatrists within the Trust.

We believe that people can change and a resounding theme of our services is being flexible to changing need, not compromising on quality and understanding our responsibility in achieving the best possible outcomes for service users, families and communities.

If you would like to find out more and feel that you share our values, we would love to hear from you!
