The Research Department are looking for an experienced and innovative Band 6 Senior Research Nurse/ Practitioner to join their team working 30 hours per week. You will need to be a registered nurse or Allied Health Professional.

Research is a rewarding and patient centred career! This is an exciting opportunity to be involved at the forefront of research (including Covid-19 research) at Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust.

You will support feasibility, set up, safe conduct and delivery of research for studies that fall within our portfolio, covering many disease areas in acute, non-acute and community settings.

You will coordinate and manage studies and will deliver recruitment in line with performance and monitoring objectives. We require a person with leadership experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can demonstrate insight into the role in clinical research. You will need to be self-motivated, demonstrate enthusiasm and driven to focus the team to offer our research community a service of the highest quality. Line management and support of your junior colleagues as well as deputising for the Lead Research Nurse is fundamental to the role.

The research team are an adaptable, supportive and dedicated team made up of registered nurses, allied health professionals, research support workers, administrators and our research managers.
