We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent Band 8a Digital Programme Manager to join Digital Services at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. This role is key to supporting the Digital Transformation programme at the Trust and will provide programme management and leadership in the implementation of large-scale, complex digital change projects. The post holder will be part of the Senior Management Team for the Trust’s Digital Services Directorate and expected to work closely with the Associate Directors and Chief Information Officer (CIO).

The Digital Programme Manager will be responsible for implementing an effective Digital Services Programme Management Office, sharing best practice and providing supervision to a small team of Project Managers. The role will require structured programme and project planning using PRINCE2/PRINCE2 Agile principles. The post holder will be required to work autonomously and have responsibility for specific project budgets. They will ensure that all projects within the programme of work are delivered within the tolerances defined by the Programme Board and the standards for project delivery. They will be required to resolve complex problems and issue conflicts between projects and priorities.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to advise and influence executives and senior managers to ensure investment in digital solutions are maximised. The post holder should be able to explain complex matters in a way that is understandable to target audiences. The post holder will also have experience in supervising staff and be able to direct workload appropriately in line with organisational priorities. Experience in managing digital transformation of clinical services in a healthcare setting would be an advantage.
