Cardiac Physiologist - Specialising in Pacing /CR Management

At North Devon District Hospital, we offer a comprehensive non-invasive Cardiology and Respiratory service that focuses on high quality and compassionate care for our patients. We currently offer a wide range of non-invasive procedures, which include Echo's, Stress Echo, Contrast echo, ACHD clinics, Paediatric Echo, ETT adult and Paediatric, follow-up Bradycardia pacing clinics, ICD clinics, Internal loop recorder clinics, remote ICD / ILR clinics, Ambulatory monitoring, Spirometry, Full lung function tests including CO diffusion and body box plethysmography.

We are currently seeking a forward thinking, dynamic and motivated individual to join our team with BSc qualification (or equivalent) Cardiac Physiologist at band 5 or band 6 depending on experience, if band 5 a short preceptorship to band 6 level is available.

The salary for Band 5 would be £24,907-£30,615 per annum pro rata.

The salary for Band 6 would be £31,365-£37,890 per annum pro rata.

The post holder will be required to cover the following aspects of non-invasive service including; 12 lead ECG, ambulatory ECG application and analyses/BP analyses, ETT, bradycardia pacemaker follow up clinics, ILR clinics, assist in the remote monitoring service and depending on experience the CRT-P and CRT-D follow up clinics. Training in pacing procedures will be provided with option to attend internal / external courses to meet national guidelines and personal competencies and to work towards the IBHRE / HRUK CRM accreditation.
