Peninsula Dental Social Enterprise is seeking a motivated, committed, enthusiastic Dental Nurse to fill a Dental Nurse position in Exeter. The post holder will work as a Dental Nurse to support clinical sessions and other DEF activities.

The role holder will support the provision of post-graduate dental education within the Dental Education Facilities in Exeter and Plymouth. Tasks will supporting the undergraduate clinics, clinical Minor Oral Surgery with Postgraduate students, booking patients for clinics, diary management for course bookings, preparation of classrooms and other teaching environments and working in the Simulated Dental Learning Environment.

The majority of the work will be in the Exeter Dental Education Facility but travel to Plymouth to support teaching sessions and attend meetings will be required. This post also involves co-ordinating and communicating with other DEFs to oversee sessions held in Plymouth.

The post holder will work 5 days per week for 52 weeks per year. The majority of annual leave will need to be taken during times of minimal activity.

Salary is £21,861 - £24,486 per year.

A current and recognised Dental Nurse qualification and current GDC registration is essential for this role.

An enhanced DBS check will be completed.
