Job Title: Band 3 Health Care Support Worker

Salary band: Band 3

Hours: 37.5 hours per week.

 

Location: North and Mid Hampshire covering Basingstoke and Winchester

There is an exciting vacancy for a band 3 Health Care Support Worker to join our Community Learning Disability Team in Basingstoke and Winchester.

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team (MDT) providing a service to adults with Learning Disability. The successful candidate will need to have a positive approach and a willingness to learn new skills in this varied and interesting role. You will need to be motivated, reliable and able to work flexibly.

 

We can offer:

• professional development and support through in-service training and the use

of library facilities

• an opportunity to develop clinical skills

• a well developed appraisal and supervision structure

• close working relationships with other professionals in the MDT and other

agencies

 

Access to transport for business use is essential. You will need a British Driving License and use of your own car as you will be working in the community, visiting service users in their homes and day services.
