Norfolk Community Health & Care NHS Trust is proud to be working as part of the Norfolk & Waveney Integrated care System(ICS) to deliver the national COVID vaccine programme to the people of Norfolk. Within our remit is a vaccination centre for the general public to access, a roving model that helps us to go out to hard to reach and vulnerable groups to ensure they have equal access to vaccination and to provide an ongoing vaccination offer to our staff and patients.


We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative individual to be responsible for the Covid Vaccination project e-Rostering, Workforce planning and staff allocation. They will act as a first escalation point for all queries regarding workforce and will be the “workforce expert” within the team, giving the ability to provide consistent advice on processes and procedures, as well as regular situation reports. The individual will need to liaise with managers across the trust, the Temporary Worker Service, coordinate staffing in the wider ICS around the utilisation of reservists as well as creating lasting relationships with staff, workers as well as external third parties such voluntary services and agencies. They will need to continually plan for a fully staffed workforce and take all the actions required to maintain staffing levels in the short, medium and long term.


You will need experience of working with HealthRoster (or other rostering systems) in a customer focused environment and be able to build effective relationships with vaccination staff and the wider organisation. This is a fast moving role that requires someone who is adaptable to changing circumstances, is organised and who has excellent problem solving skills.
