Would you like to advance your Nursing Associate career into Stroke Rehabilitation?

Our Oxfordshire Stroke Rehabilitation Unit at Abingdon Community Hospital are seeking newly qualified or experienced Registered Nursing Associates to come and join our fantastic team.

You will be part of the specialist unit, working under the leadership of our skilled and experienced Registered Nurses providing inpatient rehabilitation for post stroke patients and being a valued member of our multidisciplinary team who are passionate and forward-thinking, where views and contributions are appreciated.

Working in Stroke Rehabilitation is extremely rewarding, and our nursing team will provide with you with ongoing support to help expand your knowledge, provide confidence with clinical decisions, and enable you to flourish in this nurturing environment.

You will have excellent communication and organisation skills with a passionate and caring attitude for providing great care in rehabilitation for our older patients.

  • New starters have a 6 month probationary period. This, together with the induction process aims to create a positive supportive working environment allowing new employees to learn key elements of their role over a reasonable timescale.
