Job Title: Health Care Support Worker

Salary band: Band 2 - £18,005 to £19,337 pa

Hours: Full-time 37.5 hours per week

Location: Older Persons Mental Health,Parklands Hospital, Basingstoke

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Health Care Support Worker to join our Older Person’s Mental Health, multi-disciplinary team and support the qualified Nurses in providing effective mental health care in a safe and therapeutic environment.

If you have good communication skills, are prepared to work in a challenging environment with the adequate support and training, and you are genuinely interested in caring for older people with mental health problems then we would like to hear from you.

You will receive regular supervision and annual appraisal and will be offered training opportunities to meet your Personal Development Plan.

Previous experience of working within a care environment or the NHS is desirable but not essential as you will be supported in learning in the role.

Parklands Hospital is based next to North Hampshire Hospital in Basingstoke and is close to good road and rail networks.
