The Trust specialises in providing services for people with mental health problems and people with a learning disability including those who require specialist or forensic health care.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Psychiatrist in Watford

Situated north of London, with an approximately 25 minutes travelling time from Central London, Hertfordshire represents one of the finest areas in the UK in which to live. With a population of over 1 million, Hertfordshire is well known to have some of the best secondary and independent schools in the country, with great transport links linking the M25, M1 and A1.

HPFT is seeking a part-time (5PAs) Consultant Psychiatrist in General Adult Community Psychiatry based at Colne House, Watford. This post involves managing care for Watford based service users along with 2 full time consultant colleagues and 3 part-time colleagues. The post holder will be responsible for the assessment and treatment people of working age from his/her catchment who are referred or otherwise present to secondary care mental health services.

The post holder must ensure the relevant professional registration is maintained, including Section 12, Approved Clinician, and Responsible Clinician status.
