Salary:
£45,753 - £51,668 per annum pro rata

Health Hospitals programme manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the Trust involvement in the integrated care systems QUIT (smoking reduction) programme as the healthy hospital programme manager. Jointly funded by Yorkshire Cancer Research and the ICS this is a significant part of the health promotion work being undertaken by the Trust.

Leading and building on work already undertaken understanding how the programme can be adapted to the needs of a children’s Trust, the successful applicant will work with teams from across the Trust to develop the required infrastructure such as IT and data systems, education and training programmes and a robust communication plan. Promotion of the programme, including the offer of help to young people and their families and staff in conjunction with external agencies will be the first key milestone.

As part of the ICS programme learning and sharing with other partners through operational meetings is crucial and bringing that back to the organisation will help develop the programme. Involvement in the Trust wide QUIT steering group is another part of the integration of the programme into Trust work.

You will lead a small team including stop smoking advisors, who will be recruited in the summer 2021 and trust champions who are currently being identified.
