About the Job

Heathrow IRC is an immigration removal centre (IRC) accommodating approximately 1000 adult male detainees and up to 16 female detainees (at full capacity). CNWL provides primary care, substance misuse, and mental health services to the whole population.

Work within the Primary Care Team is varied and includes triaging, emergency care and treatment, health promotion, effective care planning, and liaising with the multidisciplinary team. It’s this variety that keeps things interesting and stimulating. Every day will bring new challenges and new experiences but you’ll have all the support you need to deliver the best care possible from both the healthcare and the IRC team.

As the Band 7 Clinical Team Leader, you will lead the team in developing and enhancing the existing service, providing comprehensive evidence-based care across the enhanced care unit and the outpatient clinics. We will support you to develop both personally and managerially in order to provide the best possible outcomes for the people in our care.

About You

You will be a qualified Registered Nurse (Adult) with a real passion for delivering high-quality clinical care. You will be self-motivated, flexible, and work well within a team but be able to work autonomously.

You do not need to have secure environment experience as we will provide you with a full induction and training.
