Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust has a programme of Transformation which includes innovative approaches to improvement across the Trust. Transforming CAMHS is a programme based within mental health services for children and young people. It aims to improve the experience of children, young people and their families, and colleagues working in this division. This project will be a part of our Transformation programme and is a high priority within the Trust.

This is a fantastic opportunity to help influence change across the organisation, and build up your experience of supporting and managing change.

We’re looking for creativity and tenacity; a positive attitude and someone who can work collaboratively; managing multiple stakeholders with sometimes differing views.

Outline of main job duties:

• Provide comprehensive project support to the Transforming CAMHS Programme.

• Lead on specific elements of this project (with support from the Project Manager)

• Support the Project manager in other areas such as workshops, virtual drop-ins and other stakeholder events

You’ll be methodical, have an eye for detail and ideally have supported some healthcare projects previously. You’ll be able to make great working relationships quickly and understand how projects work.

Due to the current Covid-19 situation the Trust has encouraged home working for appropriate roles within the Trust. Please be reassured that as part of the recruitment process we will communicate and discuss current arrangements around home working and the opportunity for flexible ways of working.

22.5 hours per week.

If a DBS check is required for the post you are applying for any offer of employment will be provisional on a satisfactory DBS check being obtained.

In line with other NHS Organisations in the Yorkshire and Humber Region a successful candidate appointed into a post within this Trust will be required to pay the DBS check fee (£45). This is customarily payable over 4 months as a salary deduction once employed by the Trust. If you receive a conditional offer letter, complete your DBS application and later withdraw from the recruitment process, an invoice will be raised via the Trust's finance department to recoup the outlay.
