CT3-EQUIVALENT TRAINING POSTS

WITHIN ANAESTHESIA / CRITICAL CARE

These posts are for a 1 year period from August 2021

Applications are invited to the post of CT3 ‘Top up’ in Anaesthesia/ Critical Care based at Ashford and St Peters Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

These posts are intended for those at CT2 level or equivalent and will help the successful candidate demonstrate the learning outcomes required for stage 1 of the 2021 Anaesthetics curriculum in order to be eligible for recruitment to stage 2 training in Anaesthetics at the ST4 entry point.

We are looking for the successful candidates to play a key role in the expansion of services across the trust. These posts are an ideal opportunity for the successful candidate to enhance their CV for application to higher training in Anaesthesia/ Critical Care. There will be a dedicated session per week allocated for teaching/training.

The department of Anaesthesia and Critical Care at Ashford and St Peters is a friendly and dynamic one, with regular teaching sessions, examination practice and educational half days. The Rota is a 1 in 8 which is compliant to EWTD.

Our main sites are Ashford Hospital, TW15 3AA near to Heathrow Airport and St Peter’s Hospital, KT16 0RQ which is close to junction 11, M25. We also operate services at Woking Bradley Unit and Milford Hospital. A free shuttle bus service operates between Ashford & St Peter’s Hospitals.
