Finance Officer - Management Accounts

Are you looking for a finance role in a friendly team working in a beautiful part of the world? We are looking for an enthusiastic Finance Officer to join the team at the Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust.

You will support the management accounts team by taking part in the financial month end process, analysing financial and non-financial data, producing regular reports and providing ad hoc information as requested by senior members of the team. The role may also involve some financial accounting duties such as raising invoices.

This role represents an excellent opportunity to use and develop your accounting skills within a varied and busy environment. The successful candidate will have a good level of accounting experience and IT skills, be reliable and flexible to respond to changing demands of the service. Attention to detail and an ability to work to deadlines are essential.

Previous NHS experience is desirable but not essential. The position is offered on a 12 month fixed term contract and payscale is dependent on experience and qualifications.
