PML is a not-for-profit organisation, run by GPs in Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire, with over 15 years’ experience of delivering high quality NHS community and primary care services. At PML, everyone counts and we are focused on working together to develop and deliver services that we know people want and need, so that patients get the best care for their circumstances.


Our well established Primary Care Visiting Service (PCVS) is expanding and we are looking to recruit experienced clinicians to join our existing team. The service exists to support General Practice providing in excess of 8000 home visits a year to patients registered in the North, North East, West and Vale areas of Oxfordshire.

You will work as a self-directed autonomous practitioner, providing the highest standard of evidence based clinical care to patients within their own home, founded on agreed management care plans and protocols. All referrals to the service are ‘despatched’ by our admin team however, you will be responsible for prioritising workload based on the clinical information provided by the GP at the point of referral.

The service operates from Monday to Friday 0930-1730 and we are looking to appoint professionals up to full time hours.

Successful applicants will:

  • have a minimum of three years post registration demonstrable experience of working as an independent practitioner,
  • a level 6 degree module in minor illness/injury assessment
  • experience of working in a community setting
