Band 7 (maternity cover 40 weeks), 0.8 WTE (4 days a week), 2 days a week is also considered, (Flexible remote working applies)

Post requirements

We are looking for a Mentalization based art psychotherapist with experience of working with people with complex emotional needs and with diagnosis of borderline personality disorders, to join our Mentalization based therapy programme within the Complex Emotional Needs pathway.

The post involves provision of individual and group therapy in an MBAPs outpatient treatment programme, together with participation in other team functions including supervision, assessment and consultation.

The Mentalization based art psychotherapist rolewill challenge and give you the opportunity to deliver evidence-based therapies, to proactively participate in service development and evaluation as well as clinical project work, to work closely with colleagues of other professions and most importantly enable you to help people make life long and meaningful changes.

You will join a group of therapists, psychologists, art psychotherapist and other professionals within the team. You will be responsible to the team manager, the Complex Emotional needs pathway lead and receive regular MBT clinical supervision and reflective practice.
