Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) provides a range of community health, mental health and learning disability services for people of all ages. Delivered through over 100 settings from inpatient wards to out in the community, our 6,500 staff serves over 1m people living in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

Leicestershire Health Informatics Service (LHIS) is currently looking to appoint a highly talented individual to assist with the organisations ambition to become a major force in the provision of Public Sector IT Solutions and Services in the East Midlands and beyond.

You will work closely with the Product and Senior Relationship Manager to implement and develop communication and engagement online through a digital marketing strategy using social media, developing our internal and external websites and our customer relationship database. Experience of website content management systems and the use of social media in a business environment are essential.

The post holder will be expected to use the full communications and marketing mix in delivering an effective internal and external online communications service to maintain and enhance LHIS’s reputation and profile. This will include public relations, digital on-line marketing, staff and customer engagement, event management, digital communications, social media and social networking and corporate publications.

In this role you will hold the lead in digital marketing to facilitate new business opportunities, marketing of our IT services and product portfolio and build up a reputation as a one-stop point of contact to our clients businesses, their strategies and additional services. You will be required to manage our corporate online web presence, actively provide SEO analysis and recommendations in coordination with the elements and structure of our web pages, be able to independently carry out full technical website audits and suggest areas for improvement, using on-going competitor research and investigation into new business development areas for growth. Also part of this role will be to ensure SEO integrates with the digital channels and wider marketing strategy and to provide recommendations and execute/manage strategy for content development in coordination with the business goals, performing keyword research in line with our business objectives, to optimise our existing content and identify new opportunities for growth.

It is essential that you have significant experience working within a digital marketing sector. A thorough understanding of the business processes and procurement lifecycle of public sector organisations would be an advantage as would be the ability to prioritise conflicting issues and defuse contentious situations.

With outstanding communication, social networking and presentation skills, you’ll be able to adapt to the audiences level of understanding with ease and be able to explain complex scenarios in a logical, engaging and coherent manner. A proven communicator, you will also have good writing skills and your high quality jargon free copy will contribute to the delivery of first class communications and campaigns suitable for a wide variety of audiences.
