An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Contracting & Performance Team at Newcastle Hospitals following the internal promotion of the previous post holder.

We are seeking a dynamic and committed individual with excellent organisational skills to join the Performance Team and to provide wider support across the Directorate. Applicants should possess a high level of computer literacy and be able to effectively prioritise between different tasks which may change at short notice, knowledge or previous experience within a corporate performance field or similar is desirable.

The post will help to support the core functions of the Performance Team as well as assist in other ad hoc business support functions across the Directorate. The post holder will be responsible for the organisation of the Directorate Performance Review process that the Trust runs; these reviews encompass a holistic overview of clinical and non-clinical Directorates across Newcastle Hospitals and are a key part of the performance management framework which the Trust operates under. As such excellent organisational skills are a key component of the role, as are effective prioritisation skills, computer literacy and an understanding of NHS access standards.

Interviews are planned for the mornings of the 19th and 20th of May and will be held either face to face or virtually depending on the preference of the candidate.
