We have long term placement opportunities available for Band 6 OT available at Princess Alexandra Hospital, specifically providing the following:

  • To be a specialist therapist responsible for providing a high standard of assessment, advice, treatment and evaluation of patients referred to the Emergency Department and Frailty Therapy Service. This may include patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions.
  • To build on previous experience to further develop clinical and managerial competencies.
  • To work as an autonomous professional according to the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy or the Royal College of Occupational Therapy Professional Conduct and Standards, and the Health Care Professions Council’s regulations.

Princess Alexandra Hospital has an enviable reputation, great supportive team with a family feel. Based in the heart of the Hospitals main site, which is set within the heart of Harlow, the post holder here will be pivotal in providing the best level of quality care to varying departments and their patient’s needs.

Excellent transport links mean their location is commutable from Hertfordshire, London, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire.

Degree In Occupational Therapy

HCPC Registered

6 months Hospital experience is preferred but not essential.
