University Hospitals of Leicester have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to join one of the biggest and busiest NHS Trusts in the country. Serving the one million residents of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, the role will provide you with an opportunity to work in a really exciting area and develop your future career.

The EDI service covers a broad range of activities, including leading the organisation’s approach to EDI so this post is ideal for someone who is interested in the world of EDI, and wants a corporate administration role within UHL and the wider system, that will provide them with transferable skills.

The role will involve receiving and responding to enquiries from staff and the general public, preparing for training and events, supporting our marketing of programmes through awareness events, handouts, emails, Twitter and notice boards, inputting and collecting data plus a variety of other administrative duties. In addition to effective interpersonal skills, the post holder will need to be willing to learn new skills and work on a variety of tasks across the team.

Hours of work will typically be 9am-5pm (can be flexible), 37.5 hours per week, predominantly working at Leicester Royal Infirmary. Job Share can be accommodated.
