In April 2017 NIHR Biomedical Research Centre commenced, a collaboration between University of Leicester, University of Loughborough and University Hospitals of Leicester. The BRC brings together the work of Respiratory Medicine, Cardiovascular Science, Diet, Lifestyle and Physical Activity.

We are seeking enthusiastic Midwives to join our fifth continuity team. If you would like to work in a flexible model, where you can manage your own workload this is the job for you. Work with a caseload of just thirty six women per year, have protected days off and make a difference to the outcomes of women in your care. This is a fabulous opportunity to work across our Maternity Service to deliver high quality care to the women of Northamptonshire. It is well documented that good continuity of carer during pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period can reduce interventions and positively influence maternal and neonatal outcomes, maternal satisfaction and midwives’ job satisfaction.

We also have vacancies in our award winning homebirth team.
