As an ICU ST3+bank doctor, you would become a Trust worker and have the flexibility to work when you want and where you prefer, from one of the three units in central London; St Mary’s Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital and Hammersmith Hospital. Our rates of pay are competitive and we pay weekly on a Friday. 

Bank Doctor:  ICU ST3+  

We are recruiting for qualified ICU ST3+ bank doctorswishing to work flexibly with our Staff Bank. By joining the Staff Bank you put yourself top of the list for any shifts requiring extra staff throughout the Trust.  We have a variety of long day shifts and night shifts. Lines of work may also be available, should this be of interest.

Your attributes and skills:

  • GMC registered with a Licence to Practice
  • MRCP/FRCA/equivalent
  • Previous experience in intensive care medicine and/or anaesthetics in an acute UK hospital setting
  • Independent in performing most day-to-day ICU procedures (e.g. lines)
  • Ability to manage airways independently
  • works well as part of a team and demonstrates team leadership skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Understand the importance of maintaining patient safety and minimising risk in accordance with Trust policy and procedure.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
