Band 4 Administrative Assistant to Trust Lead Scientist

Permanent, 0.65 WTE

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to provide admin support to the Trust’s Lead Healthcare Scientist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. The role will be based within North West London Pathology (NWLP) and would suit a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills, who is flexible, approachable and a team player.

Responsibilities will include day-to-day provision of admin support including office filing, diary management, arranging meetings including producing papers and agendas and taking and producing accurate and timely minutes. In addition the post holder will be required to collate information, prepare written reports, update documents and respond to a wide range of telephone enquiries.

The successful candidate will need to be pro-active, highly motivated, well organised and possess excellent IT skills, with experience of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. There will be a need to liaise with a diverse group of people including scientists, clinicians and service managers. Previous experience of working in a healthcare or laboratory service setting will be an advantage.
