£38,890 - £44,503 per annum pro rata

A great opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, suitably qualified, confident and forward thinking Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to manage and lead The Acute Stroke Therapy Team in Northern Lincolnshire and goole NHS FT based in Scunthorpe General Hospital.

You will manage and lead a team of registered Physio and Occupational Therapists, Assistant Practitioner and Therapy Assistant. You will work as part of a larger MDT working within the stroke Unit including hyper - Acute, Step down rehab, ESD outreach and acute neurological patients within the hospital.

You must be able to provide clinical leadership and motivation to develop the existing staff whilst maintaining high professional standards, demonstrating a commitment to staff development and patient care. Ability to demonstrate sound knowledge of the specialities which the service provides is essential.

You will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills, have strong leadership and staff development skills as well as a proven track record in change management. A strong commitment to your ongoing professional education and development is essential.

You must be hold a current HCPC registration with a degree or Diploma. The applicant must have experience post registration, and experience of working with Band 6 responsibilities.

Respiratory On -call work for physiotherapy staff
