Commissioning Support Officer

Are you looking for a new challenge within a successful, forward thinking NHS organisation?

A highly motivated and enthusiastic individual is required to join the Individual Patient Activity (IPA) Department at NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (MLCSU) to undertake the role of Commissioning Support Officer.

The applicant will be required to provide and coordinate administrative services to support the team in the establishment and development of processes. Working with administrative and clinical staff to accurately update and maintain the patient information database. Coordinating the funding requests for complex cases, communicating information effectively and efficiently with family members and stakeholders, demonstrating a high level of discretion, sensitivity and confidentiality.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate attention to detail and consistent high quality of work. Be positive and flexible in their approach, identify any future issues and suggest solutions for forward planning. Also, be able to proactively establish and maintain good working relationships with people from a wide range of personal and professional backgrounds.
