Full time, permanent, 37:30 hours per week

We are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious and motivated qualified Pharmacy Technician who is keen to develop their skills further to join our busy pharmacy team at the Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust

 The post holder will rotate through various areas within the pharmacy department including Dispensary, Medicines Management, Aseptic and Medicines information. This post offers a variety of experience and training across each area. The post holder will also be required to undertake a nationally accreted final checking qualification.

The cost of undertaking a DBS disclosure will be met by the individual. The Trust will meet the initial costs of the disclosure, and you can choose to have this deducted from either your first month’s salary or in instalments over your first 3 months’ salary. The current price of a standard check is £23 and an enhanced check is £40.


The Trust offers free car parking at the Woodside Building (Woodside Building, Moorgate Road, Rotherham, S60 2TY) if your interview is at the Main Hospital Site, which is a five-minute walk from Woodside. You will be asked for proof of your qualifications at the conditional offer stage of your employment. If you are unable to provide evidence the offer may be withdrawn.

New starters to the NHS will start at the bottom of the advertised salary band.
