Band 5 Study Support Service Industry Coordinator

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is the North West London administrative centre for the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Clinical Research Network (CRN). The Network is the clinical research delivery arm of the NHS in England, and is tasked with supporting the rapid set-up and effective conduct of studies, enabling the research community to gather evidence to improve treatments for NHS patients.

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is now seeking to appoint a Industry Study Support Service Coordinator. The Study support service consists of the Study Intelligence service, study identification service, Effective Study Setup and Performance Management elements of the Service.

The candidate will be the single point of contact for CRN’s Industry Study Support Service inbox and will need to be able to answer queries relating to all service offerings. S/he will respond to enquiries from the Life Sciences Industry, researchers, managers, Clinical Specialties Lead, NIHR Coordinating Centre and other colleagues across the Network.
He/she will be responsible for coordinating a seamless provision of the elements of the study support service for industry. This service includes supporting the feasibility, set up, delivery and performance of commercial research in North West London. If the North West London network is made the lead network for the study, the post holder will perform a quality check of the study specific costing template, and lead on the communication with sponsors for the budget validation process.
