We are offering a leadership role managing a small team of administrators who offer support to clinical teams working across the liaison services.

As a Support Service Coordinator you will be an experienced team player who has proven managerial experience and are able to assist and lead a team in providing a high quality, accurate and timely administration and secretarial service.

You will be a self-motivated, enthusiastic, proactive person who can learn to pre-empt the needs of the clinical team from an administrative perspective ensuring their clinical time is optimised for benefit the people using our services. You will be able to work effectively, in what can at times be a pressurised environment supporting and leading a team to achieve deadlines.

The role will require, amongst other skills and attributes, excellent proven leadership, interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, with word processing at a high level with experience of digital dictation systems.

You will be experienced in arranging high level meetings ensuring these are serviced at a high level, providing follow up work as necessary.

You will also provide a personal assistant role to the Liaison service senior managers.

You will have good skills surrounding electronic systems i.e. EPR (electronic patient records) and have the ability to work independently but be able to accept direction from the Line Manager as required.

You will be someone who is proactive about meeting with your peers across the Trust to problem solve and overcome issues as they arise. You will be able to work using your own initiative; ensuring business as usual from an administrative perspective is maintained within the boundaries of the role.

You will be self–motivated and enthusiastic about the service you and your team provide. You will ensure your team help service users to feel welcome and at ease when contacting the service for information, assistance or signposting within the boundaries of the role.

If a DBS Check is required for your role the Trust will administer the DBS check on your behalf and will recover the cost of the DBS check (Enhanced Check £48 or Standard Check £30) by way of deductions from your salary over the first 3 consecutive months of employment with the Trust. As a condition of your employment you will also be required to register with and to participate in the DBS Update Service, and will be responsible for maintaining payment, and subscription to the DBS Update Service (£13 annual payment).DBS checks for volunteers remain free of charge.
