HCA/Clinical Support Workers-Covid 19 Vaccinators

Banbury Cross Health Centre

Hours : Up to 37.5 hours

Rate: £9.85 per hour (plus 12.07% holiday pay)

We are looking for Healthcare Assistants (HCA)/ Clinical Support Workers and trained Non-clinical vaccinators-Casual Workers, to work in our vaccination clinics which operate across Monday to Saturday as part of our temporary Covid Vaccination Programme Task Force. You will be instrumental in ensuring that we offer an excellent vaccination service to our patients. Ideally you will have some experience in providing healthcare services.

You will undertake activities such as:

  • Basic Clinical Assessments within scope as a CSW
  • Administration of the covid vaccine according to the National Protocol and guidelines
  • Full vaccination duties including ensuring correct consent process and vaccine preparation from multi dose vials
  • Use of an electronic patient record system (EMIS)/Pinnacle and Accubook
  • Post vaccine observations support.
  • Undertake additional tasks as required within your general role as Covid-19 Vaccinator
  • Undertake mandatory training and other training relevant to the role including the National Vaccination training

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Satisfactory general education and evidence of additional training relevant to role.
  • Experience of delivering a service to others.

Experience:

  • Good patient centred skills.
  • Good administrative and organisational skills.
  • IT literate with good keyboard skills.
  • Ability to make decisions appropriate to your role and level of competence.
  • Understand and observe strict confidentiality.
  • Able to undertake the requirements of the post.
  • Reliable, flexible and excellent attendance record.
