Band 3 -4 dependant upon experience 

A rare opportunity is available for a full-time medical secretary/medical team administrator. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9 am until 5 pm.

The successful candidate will be required to provide a comprehensive and efficient medical secretarial service to Consultant Haematologists. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of clinical correspondence and will be required to be the first point of contact for their consultants’ patients. It is therefore essential that they are a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, previous experience in a customer care environment and good typing/keyboard skills are essential. Duties will also include diary management, answering the telephone and dealing with queries from a number of sources in a calm and pleasant manner.

The role would suit a hardworking, enthusiastic and friendly person who can remain calm and pleasant at all times. You must also be able to use your initiative and be able to work unsupervised.

If you have previous secretarial experience, including minute taking, we would be very pleased to hear from you.
