Band 8A Team Manager – Urgent Care and Access Service, Mental Health

Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team

Mental Health Services Urgent Care and Access Pathway has an exciting opportunity for a band 8a Team Manager to work within the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team. We serve a culturally diverse and multi-ethnic population, and support patients in both in patient and Community settings within Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

This post is pivotal to the management of the services within the Urgent Care Pathway and the post holder will work alongside the Service Manager to operationally manage services to deliver high quality and individualised care to our patients. The Team Manager is responsible for ensuring that the key objectives of the MH Directorate and the Trust of focussing on clinical services, public involvement, service diversity and equality of employment are developed and embraced. The post holder will also be responsible for the Teams budgetary and Key performance management.

The successful candidate will have a key role in helping to shape the vision for the future development of the services in line with the trusts ‘Step Up To Great’ strategy. The post holder will be leading significant improvements and changes within the pathway proactively building relationships with our key stakeholders and partner organisations both within and outside of our Trust. They will also be responsible for the day to day running of their services in order to provide high quality care to our patients. There is also the opportunity to work closely with the other Team managers across Mental Health Services to ensure consistency across service provision.
