University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust is a newly formed organisation following a merger between Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (WSHFT) and Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals Trust (BSUH) on 1st April 2021. Fixed Term Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics (12 months post)

Specialising in Trauma and other specialist interest to compliment the Department

 

Applications are invited for the above post of Fixed Term Consultant in Trauma & Orthopaedics at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust, to work cross site between Worthing and St Richard’s Hospital to start as soon as possible. This post will be with an interest in management of general trauma and develop special interest.

 

This post will be expected to provide general trauma services including fracture clinics, On Call cover and trauma operating lists cross site each week. There post attracts 10PAs. The post holder will play an active role in the Post Graduate Medical Centre delivering regular teaching and training to junior medical staff.

 

Applicants must be on the GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of attaining Specialist Registration at the time of interview.
