Band 5 Fertility Services Support Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Reproductive Medicine and IVF Department at Hammersmith Hospital. We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to take on a team leader role within the Wolfson Fertility Center, supporting the operational delivery of clinical services.

The role is to support the Operational Support Manager, and the unit Business Manager in the delivery of a high quality service, ensuring that day to day services are managed in accordance with agreed objectives, targets, quality standards, controls and resource constraints. The post holder will be required to line manage a team.

The successful candidate will have a record of delivering varied and demanding operational targets and a gift for leading and inspiring a multidisciplinary team to continually redefine and deliver the highest quality care for our patients.

The post will provide a great opportunity for individuals looking to develop their career in NHS management, allowing the post holder to share best practice and to improve patient experience.

This is a completely new role for the service, so the post holder will help shape what this role will look like in the future. The role will also focus on social media, advertising and looking for ways to improve and expand the service.

The post will support and manage the treatment pathways of both private and NHS funded patients. Experience in an IVF unit (NHS or private) would be beneficial.
