Time to Talk has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to join its expanding service in West Sussex. You may already be working as a Senior PWP, or you may be a PWP with significant post-qualification experience wanting to progress your career within low intensity Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT).

The successful applicant will be expected to provide case management and clinical skills supervision to a team of PWPs and trainee PWPs based across West Sussex, with a strong emphasis on developing trainees. They will also be required to manage a small caseload offering high quality, evidence-based low intensity interventions including telephone, face to face, group and online sessions. They will help to ensure the effective delivery of the low intensity programme, and there will be opportunities to help influence future developments within the service.

Time to Talk West Sussex is one of the best performing IAPT services in the country. With a track record of innovation, imagination and excellence, Time to Talk is seen as a flagship service within Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust, and is recognised as one of the best service providers of brief psychological interventions nationally. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with CBT Therapists, counsellors and other high intensity IAPT workers within the same service. Time to Talk encourages the development of specialist roles and quality improvement at all levels, and is committed to promoting staff wellbeing and equal opportunities.

The post holder will need to travel to different sites in West Sussex as required, and all clinical staff are required to work one late evening per week (12-8pm).
