Manchester Health and Care Commissioning is a single commissioner for health and social care, comprising a partnership between Manchester Clinical Commissioning Group and Manchester City Council.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to work within the MHCC Workforce and OD Team to support Primary Care Networks (PCNs) and the primary care workforce as they focus on the delivery of the Covid-19 Vaccine programme and longer term workforce planning and sustainability.

Acting as a point of contact for all resourcing issues and matters, you will be responsible for providing support on workforce in relation to the vaccine programme and working collaboratively with PCNs to develop workforce plans. You will also support the recruitment and implementation of the AdditionalResources Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS) within primary care.

You will have good project management skills, broad knowledge and experience of workforce resourcing asl well as delivering and implementing resourcing/recruitment plans, ideally within a health and/or local authority environment. The ability to build effective working relationships and work collaboratively across the health economy with PCN clinical leads, other key stakeholders within primary care and multidisciplinary teams will be key to therole.
