Relief Cashier- Treasury Assistant


A vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Treasury Assistant/ Relief Cashier within the Treasury Accounting team.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the accounting function, recent relevant experience in Treasury accounting and cashiering. The post holder should be able to plan workloads in order to meet strict and conflicting deadlines and also be proactive with strong IT skills, competent in the use of Microsoft Office and computerised ledger systems.

Reporting directly to the Treasury Accountant, the post holder will be responsible for reconciling control accounts relating to cash on a monthly basis, assisting in the maintenance of the cash book and other daily banking duties and preparing month-end journals. Receipting and banking income, including reimbursing patient travel, allocating financial codes to income listed on cash collection sheets and other cashiering duties. Attention to details and good communication skills is key to this role.

The candidate should be a NVQ Level 4, AAT Technician Level qualification holder, or have equivalent experience.
