Digital Learning Fellow (Equivalent to ST4+ )

An exciting opportunity is available for doctors with an interest in education, to join Great Ormond Street Hospital as an Education Fellow in Digital Learning.

The trust is committed to becoming the first-choice provider of paediatric education and significant recent investment has been made in education, with the funding of the GOSH Learning Academy (GLA) by the GOSH Charity. The post holder will join the GLA Team at a time of unprecedented development and expansion of education within our hospital. This post will enable a Speciality Registrar (ST4+ or equivalent) to develop their skills in education whilst continuing some clinical activity in an area of their choice.

We would be happy to consider applications from trainees who work on a part time basis.

We will also assist the postholder in securing funding for a Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) in Medical Education.

The start date for this post will be Monday 6th September 2021.

  • Digital Learning Fellow: Digital Learning Fellow: A post in our Digital Learning Team progressing the digital future of education at GOSH, working closely on the development of our new Virtual Learning Environment and exploring the use of interactive digital learning platforms and gamification.

If the successfully appointed candidate is currently in a recognised HEE training post, this post can be undertaken as Out of Programme Experience with approval from their local HEE Specialty School.
