If you are an enthusiastic Physiotherapist with a motivation to work and develop as part of an innovative and integrated team, then this role is for you. We are looking for Band 6 Physiotherapists, in either full time or part time roles, to join our unique service.

Our Community Therapy Team works closely the local Primary Care Networks and other community services to prevent hospital admissions and provide rehabilitation post hospital discharge. You will carry out holistic assessments of patients needs and implement goal focused therapy plans that are jointly agreed with the patient.

You must have a broad clinical experience across orthopaedics, neurology, respiratory as well as care of the elderly and enjoy the challenges of providing rehabilitation to people in their own homes. You will be supported by experienced Band 7 Physiotherapists, and work alongside a dedicated team of other Band 6 and Band 5 Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, as well as health and social care professionals from the wider integrated team. In your role you will be responsible for supervising Band 5 Physiotherapists, and Band 3 and 4 Rehabilitation Assistants. This will offer you the opportunity to develop your supervisory and managerial skills. There are excellent opportunities for learning and development, both at an organisational and In-Service level, including opportunities to attend relevant external courses and conferences.

We work across Surrey Downs Health and Care with bases at Dorking Hospital, New Epsom and Ewell Community Hospital and Molesey Hospital. There is some flexibility with where this post would be based, and this can be discussed at interview.
