We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to work as a waiting list co-ordinator within the Endoscopy Department across the three sites, Leicester Royal Infirmary, Leicester General Hospital and Glenfield Hospital.

Good organisational and communication skills are essential as well as a passion for delivering a great service to patients. You will need the ability to remain calm and pleasant at all times, and to work to tight deadlines under pressure.

You will be required to work one weekend shift per month. Your hours will be 0900 -1700 Monday - Friday Full Time (37.5 hours per week) with flexibility to work 0800 - 1600 at a weekend & as required.

You must be able to work cross site so own transport is preferred. Where own transport is not available you must be able to reliably get to work both at weekends (incl. sunday service) and during the week.

NHS experience is preferred but not essential. Please note you will need to be able to work weekends and across all sites.

COVID19 Information

Please note those role includes speaking with patients face to face on reception. Necessary precautions have been taken to protect our staff and patients, including but not limited to:

  • Surgical masks PPE for all staff and visitors
  • Perspex screens on reception
  • Social distancing measures enforced
  • Working areas and staff risk assessed and adjustments made to ensure social distancing
  • Sanitiser Points & Office Cleaning Schedules

Unfortunately working from home is not possible for this role.
