We are excited to be offering a new 12 months fixed term post or secondment opportunity for an experienced nurse interested in the training and support for internationally educated nurses to design and deliver training to recruits arriving from overseas. Applicants will need to be enthusiastic about education, pastoral care and developing career progression options.

We have set ourselves a target of inducting 70 new international nurses into the Trust by the end of 2021. Working in partnership with the International Recruitment Lead the post holder will develop and lead the induction, OSCE preparation and NHS Transition programmes.

The post holder will be part of a clinical learning infrastructure providing specialist advice and guidance which ensures that all internationally recruited nurses are well prepared for practice and life in the UK and within the Trust.

The post holder will be a key contact for the newly recruited nurses and will also offer pastoral care; signposting to other sources of support as required.

We are happy to be flexible in offering this post either as a fixed term post for a year, or as a secondment.
