Trust Fellow in Paediatric Cardiology with an interest in Prenatal Cardiology

Equivalent to ST7+

Full Time (1.0 WTE) – 12 months Fixed Term

An opportunity for a 1 year, full time, specialist training post in Fetal Cardiology has arisen at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. This post is available for those who hold a national training number in Paediatric Cardiology in the UK and suitable for those at ST7 or ST8 level and will be given to those candidates in preference.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity for training and experience in all aspects of Prenatal Cardiology. The postholder will be expected to participate in a wide range Prenatal Cardiology activities including GOSH Fetal Cardiology outpatient clinics and meetings, Fetal Cardiology outreach clinics (UCLH, Cambridge/Addenbrooke`s Hospital) and teaching and training. The postholder will have one day/week within paediatric cardiology which will include a weekly outpatient clinic. The post holder will join the cardiology registrar on call rota.

Candidates must be registered with the GMC at the time of application.
